Finally got my frame today (XLs are popular) and began putting a few parts on. I didn't get too far. The Sram / Truvativ XX cranks have a 156ish mm Q-factor. The driveside arm was about 1 mm away from hitting the chainstay, not good for actual riding purposes. Looks like I'll be delayed right up until my first planned race, April 10th. Hopefully I'll be able to ride the bike before I race it.
Everything else should be fine though. The frame looks awesome and I'm really excited about my first 29'er.
I was curious to see how it should look, so I "attached" some parts to help it resemble a bicycle.
Frame comes in at 4.0lbs flat.
The build should be pretty awesome - if it cooperates with me.
